Modifiers (Co-solvents)

Abstract Chiral and achiral separations demand different modifiers. Most chromatographers chose to perform the SFC separations by using successively some well chosen modifiers on selected columns (at least 4), and to adjust the percentage and temperature to reach the desired resolution. This article provides a number of informative examples of successful separations.
